Lizards

Tabasco Sauce-Water MixtureFill a spray bottle with water. Add two teaspoons of Tabasco sauce to it and shake the bottle well. Now, spray the sauce-water mixture in the areas where you often find lizards. Do this for a couple of days and soon, you will find your home to be free of lizards.

Fleas

Juice 'Em AwayFleas are known to be repelled by citrus. A freshly squeezed orange or lemon can be rubbed onto your pet's fur, with no harm to your pet if it is licked off, and fresh smelling fur to boot.

Spiders

Coconut: Coconut oil and vinegar are a perfect mix to keep spiders away! This mix is especially good if you find spiders in your shower: 1 part coconut oil and 1 part vinegar, mix together in a spray bottle. Use this method in your shower, bathrooms, windows and even around all your drains in the house.

Citrus: is a great deterrent for spiders! This is the easiest method to keep them away as you can just drop a few essential oils anywhere around the house that they show up! Use oils such as: lime, orange, lemon to keep them away!

Peppermint: Spiders hate peppermint, so use it to keep them away! Simply mix the following ingredients in a spray bottle: A mixture of 1 part peppermint, 1 part water and a few drops of dish soap. Spray this around doors, windows and anywhere spiders like to hide in your house!

Ants

Corn grits has some control on fire ants. Use the regular or quick grits, not the instant grits. The quick grits work much better than the orange oil which has the tendency to kill grass. The grits kill all of the ants within 1 to 2 days while the orange oil may not. But, the ants may come back as they will continue to hatch. In that situation, just apply more grits.

Stink bugs

Isopropyl Alcohol = bug spray. In fact, it's the only thing we've found that kills stink bugs without them spraying. We've also sprayed wasps in the air and they were dead when they hit the ground.

Fruit Flies

Pest in your sink: put ice in the garbage disposal and chop it up. Then add clorox and lemon juice or lemon dish soap. This naturally takes care of the pest. If you are still having problems, call a professional.
